Skip Hop is recalling thousands of high chairs across Canada and the United States due to injury risks.
The recall is on the charcoal-coloured Tuo Convertible High Chair, which can be converted into a toddler chair. The Gray Clouds style is not involved in the recall.
Skip Hop received multiple reports of the high chair legs detaching and two reports of bruising in the US. So far, there are no reports of detached legs in Canada.
The only high chairs involved in the recall are ones with style numbers 304200 and 304200-CN with one of these date codes on the back:
- HH102016
- HH11/2016
- HH3/2017
- HH4/2017
If you have one of the affected chairs, you should stop using it immediately and contact Skip Hop at 1-888-282-4674 or online for a free replacement.
Skip Hop estimates about 2,000 affected products were sold in Canada between December 2016 and September 2017, so make sure you check the numbers on yours, just to be safe!
