Dorel Juvenile Canada has recalled over 12,360 swivel wheel jogging strollers due to risk of crashing or falling if the front wheel becomes loose or detaches. These strollers were sold at various retailers across Canada from January 2010 to as recently as April 2016.
There have been no reports of injuries in Canada, however in the USA there were 132 reports where the front wheel suddenly became loose. This caused 215 injuries that included head injuries, sprains, lacerations, bumps, bruises and abrasions.
Dorel Juvenile is a popular brand in Canada so check to be see what brand and model number of stroller you have and pass this info. on to your friends and family who use strollers. A free repair kit will be required to resolve the issue.

The models affected by this recall are Instep, Instep Safari and Schwinn Grand Safari swivel wheel jogging strollers with a front wheel quick release mechanism. You'll be able to identify these strollers via model name and number, as listed below (from the Healthy Canadians website.)
