If you have a Toy Story fan at home, you might want to check your playroom for a plush Forky toy. Disney, along with Health Canada and the US Consumer Product Safety Commission are recalling an 11-inch Forky toy after concerns that the toy's googly eyes might detach and cause a potential choking hazard.
The Disney Forky Plush Toy in question has "poseable arms, a cream-coloured base and plastic 'googly' eyes," according to the Health Canada warning. The toy has been pulled from store shelves, but approximately 651 of them were sold across Canada this year before Disney issued this voluntary recall.
As of July 2, Disney had received one report of an incident in Canada and no reports of injuries. If you have one of these toys, keep it away from your children and return it to a Disney Store location as soon as possible.
