If you missed the news last summer, Pier 1 Imports announced plans to close six stores across Canada in 2019.
In fact, they decided to close up to 25 of their North American stores during their 2019 financial year. Well, that number just went up.
According to CNN, as many as 45 different Pier 1 stores may close for good this year.
We don't know yet which locations are impacted, but we'll keep you posted if and when Pier 1 releases more information.
I personally love their stores, so I'm a little sad to see them go – especially now that Home Outfitters and other similar stores are almost gone, too. So we're turning to you for advice. Let us know your favourite places to shop for homewares, furniture and décor in the comments!
