Nine West is Closing Stores Across Canada

Well, it's happening. After declaring bankruptcy in the US earlier this year, Nine West is shutting down in Canada.

All of their remaining stores in the country are now clearing out merchandise and hosting a going-out-of-business sale.

They're also holding a Store Closing Blowout online, where you can get up to 40% off their spring collection.

I was walking through the mall this afternoon and stopped by Nine West, just to check things out. I'll be honest – the prices I saw weren't amazing, and they definitely weren't close to what you might expect from a liquidation sale.

Everything across the store is 20% off for now, but there's always a chance that we'll see even steeper discounts in-store as time goes on. No matter where you shop, all sales are final.

But there's good news for all you Nine West fans! Authentic Brands Group (the company behind Juicy Couture) is thinking of buying the brand for a line of jewellery and accessories – so you might still be able to buy Nine West bags (or something pretty similar) in the future.
