Did you accidentally buy furniture that was too big, too small or just not quite right? Well, now you have a little bit more time to make up your mind and decide whether to keep it.
IKEA Canada just announced a major change to their return policy. Instead of giving you 45 days to return items, you now have a full year!
The IKEA 365 Day Return Policy is now live and applies to most items purchased at IKEA stores or online via the IKEA Canada website.
A full year is plenty of time to figure out if an item really works in your home – and you can even assemble furniture and home accessories before making a final decision. And yes, that applies to mattresses, too (as long as they're clean).
Just remember to hold on to your proof of purchase (whether that's a physical receipt, email confirmation or some other document) and provide the packaging (if possible) when you go to return any items. IKEA Canada will refund you by the same method as the original payment. In some cases, you may only be eligible for an exchange or store credit.
