Let me start by saying that I absolutely adore Anthropologie. I probably spend way too much time and money there, and I didn't think I could love them any more – until they made this announcement.
Next month, Anthropologie will launch APlus, their first-ever plus-size collection!
Plus sizes will officially launch at Anthropologie on March 15, 2019, and that's not the only thing changing. Soon, they also plan to expand their petites collection to carry a full range of sizes from 00P to 26W.
Here's what Anthropologie says about the new collection on their website:
What to expect? Wardrobe heroes with all of our quintessential charm and romance, now available in sizes 16W to 26W. There are dresses to dance in, pants to romance in, and skirts to shine in – all designed with careful consideration and love by our in-house team.
They're keeping the new line under wraps for now and only releasing a few teeny sneak peeks of what we might be able to expect from APlus over the coming year.
Still, I have a few friends who can't wait to see what they have in store for us, and this is definitely a step in the right direction toward more inclusivity in fashion. The plus-size line will be available online and in 10 select stores across Canada and the United States.
