The TwinGo company is recalling 4,000 of its TwinGo Original Carrier because the waist buckles can break and children can be hurt in a fall.
160 Twin Go Original Carriers included in the affected recall were sold in Canada. The carrier holds up to two children, weighing from 10 - 45 pounds. Of the 13 reports of the buckles breaking, with no injuries being reported, one of those incidents was reported in Canada, so it's important that you alert anyone you may know who has one of these carriers. Looking at the photo of the product while in use, should the buckle break, it could be a hard fall for an infant.
Affected Products: "TwinGo" is printed on a label on the front of the carrier. On the label on the waistbands, there is an 11-digit batch number. Affected batch numbers are 23014024003, 01515026003 and 21615019001.
Where Purchased: The products were distributed through various boutique stores, and online at Amazon.com and TwinGoCarrier.com from December 2014 through May 2016.
