Results are In: Canadian Parents are putting their Kids first this Black Friday!

It's almost here, Black Friday. The biggest and busiest shopping day of the year is coming quick and it looks like parents have their sights set, not on that big screen TV, but on kids' toys. We recently invited parents to complete an online survey about Black Friday.

The survey revealed that over 60% of parents have toys and games at the very top of their shopping list this Black Friday. Whether it's Hatchimals, Shopkins, Speak Out, Lego, Barbie or Bikes, over 3,800 parents weighed in that it's toys they'll be looking for on Black Friday. Out of ten possible purchase categories, the closest in a far second-place is electronics at less than 11% of respondents.

These were the poll findings:

And just how much are parents planning to spend? According to survey results, out of over 3,600 Canadian shoppers, over 60% are planning to keep their spending under $250.00 this Black Friday; with just over 25% planning to spend over $500. While parents might be generous, it would seem they are also keeping their spending in-check as they deal-shop this Black Friday.
