If you have pets, then I have some sad news. It seems that PJ's Pet Stores and their other store names are closing across Canada. This happens to be where we buy all of our pet supplies, so I am sad to see them go. Be advised though, the closing of their stores will make for some stellar discounts in the near future. Right now their sales are offering up to 30% off food, beds, pet supplies, toys and more but as they get closer to closing those discounts will rise.
PJ's Pet Stores owns Pets Unlimited, Petculture, and Oliver & Pets as well. These stores are known to carry a vast variety of our favourite brands for all sorts of pets. They have been known for providing good service for over 50 years, and now they have announced 27 locations that will be closed across Canada. You can see the list here.
Here is a quote from Brad Hamilton, Vice President of PJ's Pets:
"We are saddened to say that we are closing our doors after almost 50 years of serving the pet community across Canada. Our business was able to thrive for so many years as a result of our loyal associates and amazing customers. We encourage our customers to take advantage of the extraordinary savings on all of our remaining merchandise."
I am very sad to see that both the PJ's Pets and Oliver Pets & Co. that I shop at are among the first wave of stores being closed. I will have to make sure to shop there before the selection has been picked through, so I can get the favourite toys and treats that my dogs love.
Do we know which locations will be closing?
Hi Gemma! Follow the link above and you will see another link to the list of stores that are closing.
Thanks!

It's already more than 30% off in Pickering and Peterborough. I've been to both recently
