It's the most wonderful time of the year – when new beauty gift sets start showing up!
In anticipation of the holiday season, different beauty brands are already releasing this year's holiday collections and gift sets.
And to help you narrow things down (and know exactly which ones to put on your wish list), I put together this quick list of the very best beauty gifts you can buy in Canada.
Some of the items on this list are from new holiday collections, and others are gift sets you can buy any time of year.
To simplify things a little, I only included beauty gifts that are available at Sephora Canada – so instead of running around to different stores and websites, you can (hopefully) cross a few people off your Christmas shopping list all at once – and pick up one or two for yourself!
I'll update this list as more stock arrives and new gift sets become available online at Sephora, so make sure you bookmark this page and check back often over the next couple months.
The Best Makeup Gift Sets
TOO FACED Under the Christmas Tree Breakaway Face & Eye Set ($52) – This year's TOO FACED holiday collection is already here, and the crown jewel of it all is this fold-out palette set. It's valued at $250 and includes a face palette, two eyeshadow palettes and a sample-size Better Than Sex Mascara. So trust me, THIS is the set you definitely want under your tree.
Fenty Beauty Bomb Baby Mini Lip and Face Set ($28) – I don't know anyone who doesn't love Fenty – and this little set would make the perfect stocking stuffer. It pairs a mini-size Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter with a teeny Gloss Bomb (in Fenty Glow) to give you all the shimmer you need.
HUDA Beauty Contour & Strobe Lip Set ($33) – There's nothing like lips all done up with HUDA Beauty kits. There are five of these limited-edition sets in total (which means you can almost positively find a colour to suit your skin tone). Each one comes with a full-size Lip Contour, a mini Liquid Matte Lipstick and a mini Lip Strobe to give you that full pout.
Sephora Collection Midnight Kisses Storybook Set ($35) – Can you tell yet that I'm obsessed with lipstick? If you are too (or if you know somebody who is), you might want to pick up this new #Lipstories set from Sephora Collection. It includes six holiday-perfect lipsticks in cream, matte and metal finishes, and each one comes in special seasonal packaging.
Sephora Favourites Superstars Kit ($90) – Looking to introduce somebody to Sephora products for the first time? Then take a peek at this Superstars Kit! It's valued at $172 and comes packed with 11 bestselling products from Sephora Canada. You'll find a Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, Dior Diorshow Mascara and more inside.
The Best Skincare Gift Sets
Tatcha Smooth, Poreless Skin Obento Box ($98) – Who wouldn't love the gift of smooth skin? This Tatcha kit includes three of their bestselling products that can help combat pores, dullness, uneven skin texture and oiliness. It includes their Water Cream, Deep Cleanse and Silk Canvas. The entire set is formulated to be gentle and non-irritating, and it's valued at $124.
Saturday Skin No Bad Days Set ($48) – I'm pretty new to the world of Saturday Skin products, but this set caught my attention right away. It's suitable for all skin types and comes with four essentials that work to balance and brighten your skin: Rub-A-Dub Refining Peel Gel, Daily Dew Hydrating Essence Mist, Wide Awake Brightening Eye Cream and Featherweight Daily Moisturizing Cream.
Dr. Jart+ Mask Heroes Face Savers ($45) – If you want to make your weekly face mask a little more fun, check out this new Dr. Jart+ set. It has six of their favourite masks that you can use whenever a specific skin concern or issue pops up – so you don't need to worry about things like dryness, enlarged pores, dehydrated skin too much this winter!
GLAMGLOW #Multimasking Mask Treatment Set ($49) – This has been one of the most popular sets at Sephora Canada lately for a reason. The #Multimasking set lets you (or the lucky person you give this to) try out different GLAMGLOW masks before committing to the full-size jars – so you can figure out exactly which of their products will work best for you. It's valued at $110 and comes with six travel-friendly versions of their most famous masks.
Drunk Elephant Inspector Drunk Night Kit ($120) – Alright, this is a pretty cute idea. You can use the magnifying glass to identify six trouble-causing ingredients in the beauty products you currently own. Once you put them all aside, replace them with the $179 worth of Drunk Elephant goodies included in this gift set! You'll get six new products and tips for avoiding skin damage.
First Aid Beauty Skin Summit Set ($60) – Get your skin ready for winter! This seasonal Skin Summit Set from First Aid Beauty comes with five FAB favourites that can help give you a healthy, glowing and hydrated complexion. These treats are suitable for all skin types, and this set is valued at $139 – so you're really getting your money's worth here.
The Best Haircare Gift Sets
Drybar Glitter Gang Set ($270) – Nothing says Christmas like a LOT of glitter and sparkle, and that's exactly what you get with this limited-edition Drybar set! It's exclusive to Sephora – and if it's anything like their other Drybar kits, it will probably sell out very soon. It's valued at $361 and includes a silver glitter Buttercup Blow Dryer, a Ceramic Round Brush, limited-edition Glitter Spritzer Sparkle Spray, their Triple Sec 3-in-1 Texturizing Spray Blanc Scent and more.
GHD Classic Good Hair Day Kit($255) – This is an essentials kit for anyone who styles their hair pretty regularly – and needs new tools to do it! Valued at $354, this GHD master set comes with a one-inch styler, clips, a heat-resistant pouch, clips, a paddle brush and their Heat Protect Spray – so all the basics you need to get through your morning routine (and then to prep for a night out).
Moroccanoil Moisture & Shine Travel Kit($32) – Anybody else go crazy for this stuff? I love it when all my faves come in travel-size, and this Moroccanoil kit is the perfect way for you to bring all your haircare goodies on your next vacation. It includes shampoo, conditioner and their signature treatment you can use every day to hydrate your hair, add shine and detangle knots.
The Best Makeup Brush Sets
Sephora Collection Ready to Roll Brush Set ($88) – I don't know about you, but I try and ask for a new makeup brush set almost every Christmas. And this year, I found a Sephora Collection one that gives you incredible bang for your buck. This is a 10-brush set that's valued at $244 (right?!) and packed into a black faux leather brush roll that you can take with you anywhere.
beautyblender Sweet Indulgence Set ($80) – Okay, I know this isn't a makeup brush set, but I'm including beauty tools here, too. The new Sweet Indulgence Set from beautyblender should honestly be on everyone's wish list, just because it's valued at $143. It's a special holiday set that includes four of their original blending sponges and four mini Blender Cleanser Solids.
