It's mid-October, and if your kids are anything like I was as a child, you're probably already hearing about all the things they want for Christmas. And since Santa's elves can't possibly make all those LOL Surprise! dolls and PAW Patrol vehicles by themselves, it might be time you give them a hand ...
One of my favourite sales of the entire year is back at Well.ca. It's called the Toy Extravaganza, and it's basically a weeklong event where most of the board games, outdoor toys and craft sets they sell are 20% off!
The first thing I checked for was the new Melissa & Doug Get Well Doctor Activity Centre. If there's room in your budget for one major gift this year, I'd give this set serious consideration. It's a multi-sided play centre made to look just like a doctor's office that comes with a waiting room and an examination area. Your kids can pretend to be a doctor, nurse, patient or receptionist – and the entire set is now just $215.98 from $269.98.
And speaking of fun Christmas gifts, how cute is this little Holiday Hoppers Inflatable Bouncing Reindeer? I can just picture it in holiday photos, and I know a few toddlers who would absolutely love to have one of their own. A unicorn hopper is also marked down, but I'll probably stick with this reindeer one. It's just $27.98!
You might have to save this Kinderboard for next summer (unless you want to use it inside the house), but it honestly seems like a pretty cool investment. It's basically a Dutch-designed wooden plank that can help kids develop a sense of balance. And since it holds up to 484 lbs, adults can try it, too!
For those of you with kids who collect all the Poopsie toys they can find, there's something you have to see. There's a Poopsie Fart Jacobs Display Case – and yes, that's a spoof of Marc Jacobs. It's shaped like a giant perfume bottle and can house a bunch of figures and slimes. You can pick one up for $47.98 from $59.98.
If you've been on the Well.ca website recently, you might have noticed they started carrying products from Grimm's. They make some of the most intricate and beautiful wooden toys I've ever seen, including this giant Rainbow Bundle that includes extra-large creative puzzle pieces your kiddos can use to construct just about anything. This set isn't technically part of the Toy Extravaganza, but it's marked down to $179.98.
Some of the larger activity centres won't qualify for free delivery, but most other orders over $35 ship for free. You can also arrange to pick up some items from a Rexall location near you.
