You just have to pay the shipping fees, so this isn't a true Canadian "freebie" in the largest sense of the word. Regarding actual shipping costs, it seems to be $7.90 for "slow" delivery. While $7.90 seems a lot to pay for the shipping of a freebie, when you think about it, you're paying less than $8 for a personalized photo calendar, so I think it works out OK.

It's a good idea for a Christmas gift actually. You could make a calendar for your mom, or your partner, filled with nice pics.

When you are going through checkout, I recommend that you tick all the boxes to make sure you're not added to their email list (unless you want to be, of course). Vistaprint send out a lot of emails, though you can choose the option to only see one per week.

Thanks for posting this! I am VERY impressed. I get a calendar made every year with my photography and have paid alot for good quality and have been disappointed with bad quality (wal mart, shoppers, etc). I saw this deal and figured why not? it's free so I order next year's early. I paid 2.99 extra for premuim paper and with that, shipping, upload fee and taxes, i ended up paying $15. Don't let that discourage you beacuse its not totally "free". The quality is AMAZING. I would have paid the same at wal mart for a cheap flimsy calendar. Also, I chose 7.99 slow shipping that would take 21 days....they sent me an email saying they were able to ship it early and i got it in 2 days!!! Amazing. This promo was a good plan on their part because now I will use them every year, again and again!
