Waterproof mascara is a summer essential. It's up there with sunscreen, a unicorn pool float and a swimsuit that makes you look like one of the Baywatch babes – and Urban Decay just launched a new one.
It's actually a revamped version of one of their all-time bestsellers, Perversion Mascara. It has more than a hundred five-star reviews on their site alone (and just over 1,400 at Sephora) – so I was excited to try it. I haven't ordered one quite yet, but I can't wait to see if it stacks up to the original!
I practically live in waterproof mascara all year round, and I have yet to find one I love as much as my tried-and-true, Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara from Lancôme. This one, though, seems pretty promising.
Urban Decay claims this new formula will give you "bigger, blacker, badder lashes," and that sounds pretty great to me. They even say it should last you through "killer days, extreme workouts, splash zones" and more. So who knows? It could just be the thing to stand up against anything summer can throw at you!
Each tube sells for $31, but orders over $50 ship free from Urban Decay, so you might as well buy two (or at least pick up a bottle of All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray while you're at it). I haven't seen this mascara anywhere else in the country yet, but let us know in the comments if you spot it anywhere!
