There are 2 great events this weekend happening at Toys R Us that are completely free. It seems as though a few times a month now, they hold these type of events for families.
The first event will be happening on Saturday, Oct 27th (from 11-2). Build either a LEGO Dracula or LEGO Friends model and bring it home with you. This is a great free activity for families to do. These events tend to fill up quickly so I would suggest arriving a bit early. For the younger builders, there's a DUPLO pumpkin to build.
This is also the 4th week of Bricktober so if you are interested in LEGO, then they have a deal on that as well. Get a free LEGO Zombie Chauffer Coffin Car Minifigure (value $4.99) when you spend $35 or more on any LEGO building sets. Plus, you can also get a free LEGO Vintage Minifigure Collection 5 Pack when you spend $75 or more on any LEGO building sets. Both of these deals are in stores only.
If you would like an activity to do with the family on Sunday October 28th, you can be one of the first people to demo the new Skylanders Giants game. It will be held from 11am until 2pm as well.
Both of these events are available for free at most Toys R Us locations across Canada.
