Britax car seats are the cream of the crop of child car safety. I haven't owned anything but, so I highly recommend them. As with this type of equipment, you get what you pay for, so the Britax does have a large price tag. Use the promo code for Toys R Us to get $100 off the Britax Pavillion (Calgary fabric) and pay only $269.99, saving you $100 off the regular price.

This deal is only valid until the end of today or if it sells out, so just like with Anna, get clicking on that keyboard if you are looking for a great deal on a car seat. The Pavillion is actually a model I have for my youngest son. I find that it is best for the younger kids, so kids transitioning from an infant seat or infants. It does have a 65lb weight limit and I do think larger children will fit in it, but Britax also has larger models more for bigger kids. But, if you want a car seat that will start with your baby and hold it while it grows until the expiry, this seat is definitely worthwhile. It can be used rear or forward facing.
What I love about Britax is that they are the safety innovators. I was told that other car seat companies copy their designs, so they are always the first to have the most safest features. My seats have taken quite the beating and I'm always sad to replace them when they expire, because they stay in such great condition. We had a cheaper car set handed down to us for our second vehicle and that thing was a huge pain to install, to buckle the child in and actually looked cheap. I really recommend not holding your dollars with this purchase. Plus, if you are looking for a seat for only a few years and want to sell before the expiry is up, these seats sell very well on kijiji for over $100.
You'll save $10 on shipping on this item, which won't ship for free as it is large. Depending where you live, it was going to be $25 to my door, which is well worth the savings you are getting.
