The Source Canada has an excellent sale on the Total Chef Juicin' Juicer. Originally $99.99, the juicer is on sale for $69.99 with free shipping.
I price compared this unit with other online retailers. The Total Chef Juicin' Juicer retails for the following prices:
- $84 @ Walmart Canada
- $99.95 @ Shop.ca
- $99.95 @ Home Depot Canada
- $99.98 @ Best Buy Canada
This is a basic juicer - perfect for morning freshly squeezed orange juice. Many juicers are quite expensive, but if you want to pass on store bought juice for a healthier alternative, then pick up this budget friendly juicer from Total Chef. This juicer can also juice veggies. The Top Chef Juicin' Juicer has a dual speed selector and auto-shut off. The extra-large pulp bin will let you get through a couple glasses of juice before emptying. A wide chut opening lets you spend less time cutting fruit.
The juicer is a combination of plastic and stainless steel. Most importantly, the juicing blade is made of stainless steel so it will keep a sharp edge and last for years to come. I like the addition of suction cups to the bottom of the juicer to keep it in place on your counter. That sounds very handy.
While there are no reviews on The Source, I did find some on other websites. Reviews for this juicer are a mixed kettle of fish. Some people found it not worth the money ($100) and found the machine a bit messy. However, one reviewer at Home Depot reminded readers that:
It is not the best juicer out there, but it is in a good 100.00 juicer. It does leave wet pulp not getting all the juice out but in all fairness I have not read the manual yet. Make sure that it is put together snugly or you will have a mess. I have used better juicers but this one fits what I need for now and the price is right. clean up is not that bad if you do it right after you use it.
If this is a good juicer for $100, then I think it is an even better juicer at only $70. For anyone needing a juicer on a budget, this one certainly fits the bill. As the juicer costs over $29, it qualifies for free shipping to your home.
