Ready to buy some USB as though they're candy? The Source has dropped the price on their Nexxtech 16GB USB 2.0 flash drive by a whopping 72%! Each one is now just $5.99 instead of the usual $24.99 price. Plus, you can also use the Source promo codeTS499 to get absolutely free shipping instead of having to add any filler items!
Even better is that there is a chance that you might even receive a $25 savings card for FREE with your order! The Source has been advertising the $25 savings card promo for a couple of days now with the wording being that you can get it with "every purchase". There is no mention of a minimum required purchase except for the fact that the savings card itself must be used on an order totalling over $150 and only between August 13th and August 26th.
As for the specs of the Nexxtech flash drive, it's pretty straight forward: it can hold 16GB files, documents or pictures and is a 2.0 version, which should be a decent speed for regular file transfers. It would also be particularly great for any students about to go back to school.
There are only two reviews for it and both gave it a 5/5 star rating. Here's what one reviewer had to say about it:
Best price; works like a charm!
Best price indeed! The cheapest USB flash drive that I found at Best Buy is the Lexar JumpDrive currently on sale for $5.99 (reg. $12.99) and even then, it's only for 8GB!
Here's another review:
I ordered 4 of these and because the colours are shipped randomly I received 2 blue 1 orange and 1 red. I don't have a problem with no colour choice but for some users this may be an issue.
The colours are indeed random, but if you want to specifically choose the one that you want, then you could pick it up in-stores instead (it's free to do so). Otherwise, you'll get it in either: blue, purple, red or orange.
