When I added the First Years booster seat to my cart, proceeded through checkout, and applied the promotional code, the final price was $48.50 (plus tax), and that includes free super saver shipping. It's a great price too, down from $89.99 - a 46% discount on the original price.

You won't get your order terribly fast though, so don't order this if you are in a rush for a new booster seat. Amazon say that the item will be shipped within 1 to 2 months. If you plan on needing a new booster seat but you're in no mad rush for it, then this would be a good deal to snap up.

I've been keeping my eye out for one like this, as my little 2 year old girl is starting to get quite big for the seat she's using just now. Plus, I am severely tempted by the cup-holders on this First Years booster! That might sound like such a  pointless thing to be excited about, but sometimes she throws her sippy cup around the back of the car, and I can't retrieve it will driving.

It looks really sharp - love that price also. Thanks!

One thing to consider is the expiry date. Often a car seat on sale or clearance might already be a year old or more. When the expiry date is only six or so years (varies by make and manufacturer), you might not get through to the end of your child's booster-sear career with that seat. And speaking of carseats, did you know that communities often hold free carseat clinics? Very worthwhile to be sure you are installing them correctly. And in my experience, I got a bunch of extra freebies, too. Fire halls or health units would have details about these events.

This IS a great deal on a great seat but know your provincial legislation!! For example, though this seat is rated for 30lbs and up, in the province of Ontario, kids must be 40lbs and up to be in a booster seat!!!
