Every once in a while, you just stumble across an idea you absolutely love. For me, that happened a couple of weeks ago when I was scrolling through my Facebook and saw an ad for The Birth Poster.
The concept is fairly simple, but I can't support this kind of artwork enough. Each one of their posters is designed to be a custom representation of the exact length your child was at birth. Everything is done on a 1:1 scale, and they make the perfect addition to any nursery. Plus, this week, they're on sale!
The Birth Poster calls this their Black Week Sale, and you can save 20% on absolutely all orders for a limited time. As you create yours, just note that there's no option to change the currency to CAD, so everything is priced in USD. They do, however, offer FREE worldwide shipping on orders over $64.
You can choose from a few different poster designs, my favourite of which is the Continuous Line #2. When you go to design yours, make sure you select the colour, orientation and poster style you want – and then enter your child's birth data, including their name, length, weight, birthday and time of birth.
They can also make a Duo Birth Poster or Trio Birth Poster for multiples, siblings or cousins. These are honestly precious keepsakes, and grandparents might love to receive one of all your children together.
