It's a mouse. It's for gaming. Logitech and Staples want you to have it for $29.99. You don't need to know anything else.
Really, you don't. Logitech makes great products and this mouse is no exception. Just looking around online shows ratings for this mouse are generally between 4 and 4.5 out of 5. This isn't a super top-of-the-line mouse, I don't think, so if you're a super hardcore gamer then maybe this isn't for you. For some, though, it'll be perfect.
Take me, for instance. I'm not generally a PC gamer, but since I got my laptop, I've been keeping my eyes open for a game to pick up. I'm already swimming in PS3 games so it has to be something especially good. That doesn't matter though, what matters is that I am going to need a mouse for my gaming. Using a track pad does not make for a good gaming experience. Like I said though, I'm not generally a PC gamer so getting a $175 gaming mouse doesn't really appeal to me. A $29.99 gaming mouse on the other hand, is right in my wheel house.
