When I saw a Kate Spade sale with a big discount, my ears perked up. Though I do dabble with other designers, I love the clean lines and quality pieces produced under her label. Price Comparison
I searched online quite a bit, and the only other place in Canada you can buy a Kate Spade is Costco.ca, where I found the Cherry Lane Lacey Wallet for $169.99. Costco also has a very small selection of Kate Spade bags that start at $199.97 for the smallest bag and only go up in price. Chapters Indigo and Hudson's Bay both carry a few Kate Spade accessories such as jewelry or cell phone cases, but neither retailer has any kind of wallet or bag.
Shipping and Duties
Kate Spade ships to Canada for only $10, which is great news for all of us hoping to purchase these great pieces. Kate Spade does ship from the US and all prices are in US dollars. That also means that there is the chance of duty fees at your door. The good news is the prices of the items featured are low, so your overall duty bill should be small should you be charged.
The reality is while a few places sell Kate Spade in Canada, only Costco Canada has handbags. Most of the items over in the Kate Spade clearance section are not available anywhere else in Canada. You will be the only one in the room with this stylish Kate Spade wallet or bag… or both!
