My saving grace during all this is that I can open my windows to let the sunshine, breeze and birdsong in. It's finally warming up in my province, too, so I've started going for walks on nicer days. I don't head far, but it's really nice to get out of the house and stretch my legs – at least for a little while.
That means I'm actually wearing shoes more often than I initially expected, and I might just treat myself to a new pair. I currently own two pairs of Sorel shoes: suede ankle boots and their famous Joanie II Lace Sandals. I have them in the Camel Brown colour, but I really want to get my hands on the Sage ones while they're $120!
The boots I mentioned? They're similar to these Lolla Cut-Out Booties, which are now marked down to $135 from $180. They look perfect for spring, and I plan to slip my version on as soon as all this snow and slush melts. Sizes are selling out quickly for these and a few other pairs though, so I wouldn't sleep on this deal!
For all you guys, just take a peek at these Madison Chukka Boots. They're also selling fast, but you can still scoop up a pair for just $165. Standard shipping across Canada is a flat rate of $7.
