My favourite Shoppers Drug Mart Points event is back on for one day only, and it is even better than ever. Get 20x the Optimum points on Saturday August 31st only when you spend $50 or more in stores.

The usual exclusions apply:

Exclusions include products that contain codeine, non-pointable items, tobacco products (where applicable), lottery tickets, passport photos, stamps, transit tickets and passes, event tickets, gift cards, prepaid phone cards, prepaid card products and Shoppers Home Health Care locations. Offer applies to photofinishing services that are picked up and paid for on the day of the offer only.

The reason I say this event is even better than ever is that this time, you only need to spend $50 or more to get your extra points. A lot of the time, you are required to spend $75 or more, specifically in the Territories and some other provinces. This time, it is $50 across Canada. The other great thing is that you can spend your $50 or more on practically anything at Shoppers instead of just one department. Last time they had this event, you would only get the extra points if you were shopping beauty products.
