We are looking to eventually replace our mattress so I was checking out the deals at Sears Canada. You can get the Sealy Posturepedic "Pacific Rim" Mattress and Box Spring set in any size for under $1000 and save up to $1000 while you are at it.
I am looking to downsize from a queen size bed to a double bed. I don't move around a lot at night and frankly I use the same amount of space no matter what size of bed I'm in. With a double bed, it just means I will be laying closer to my partner.
The Sealy Posturepedic ''Pacific Rim'' Euro Top Mattress costs $1079.99 regular price for the double size mattress, but on sale it comes down to just $589.95. You have a choice between firm or plush and I would most certainly go for plush.
I could even get the matching Sealy Posturepedic ''Pacific Rim'' Box Spring in a double for just $160, originally $320. You have the choice of low profile or standard. I would probably go for low profile as I kind of like my bed either close to the ground or close to the ceiling, like a nest. In total I would be spending just $749.95 for a new bed.
The other size combinations are just as cost friendly:
- Twin: $559.95 + $140 = $699.95
- Twin XL: $589.95 + $160 = $749.95
- Double XL: $629.95 + $170 = $799.95
- Queen: $629.95 + $170 = $799.95
- Queen: $629.95 + $135 (split box spring) = $764.95
- King: $809.95 + $145 = $954.95
Shipping will depend on where your new bed is being shipped off to. If you have a truck, you might want to pick this up in store to save on shipping costs.
