It's Barbie time! A number of Barbie beauty sets are currently on sale for just $9.99 at Sears, which is 50% off their original prices of $19.99.
In total, the following three beauty sets have been discounted by 50%, down to just $9.99:
Out of the three, I would totally go for the first one on the list, the Jetting beauty set, as it has the following positive review:
My three year-old loves her set!!! She does her own nails and lip stick. I find that the lip colors aren't too dramatic and the nailpolish colors are very gentle and don't go on too dark. My little girl always asks, "Mommy, where my 'makeups'?"
An important factor to note here is that although the reviewer mentioned her three year old daughter, these sets are actually recommended for kids aged four year old and up. If your little one isn't old enough yet, then this deal could be great to take advantage of anyways as it's always better to buy ahead anyways -- more savings in the long term this way!
It comes with 2 nail polishes, a set of 10 artificial nails, 1 sticker sheet, 2 lipsticks, 22 lip glosses, 2 heart-shaped trays, a 4-colour eye cream compact and a duo applicator.
The train case doesn't have any reviews, while the ultimate beauty salon has two reviews with a total rating of 3/5 stars.
If your daughter isn't a Barbie fan, then check out the Monster High Skullette fashion make-up case instead. This one is 50% off also but it's slightly higher in price. Originally priced at $34.99, it's now down to just $17.49 and comes with 3 lip glosses, 3 nail polishes, 2 quad eyeshadows, 2 chubby lip pencils, 2 chubby eye pencil, 2 spongetip applicators and even a toe separator. Monster High is actually all the rage right now, so if price makes no difference, then definitely pick up the Monster High Skullette set instead of the Barbie one. In fact, this one also has one 5/5 rating. :P
Since shipping is only free on orders over $99 at Sears, you would need to either add more items to your cart to reach that threshold or you could always pick-up your order in-stores instead.
