Here is a nice little freebie since today most kids started back to school. Get a free downloadable Back to School Activity Pack from School Sparks.
This free download is a twelve page activity pack that has activities and worksheets for elementary school kids. This entire free download was prepared by a retired kindergarten teacher. It will make for some great after-school activities for the little ones.
In addition to this free activity pack, School Sparks also offers nearly 1,000 free worksheets on a variety of topics for young children. This website is great for parents and teachers. These worksheets include things like animals and pets, feelings and emotions and days of the week. I know when I was teaching, having these activity-type worksheets to print off was a huge asset. They are great for rainy day recesses, lesson planning and just down-time activities.
