  I recieved mine, and it came pre opened, looked used (the machine had water in the plastic packing and there is a small chip in it. I talked to the company this morning about it. I don't want to return it as I like it and it does a good job. They won't give me an exchange, just a refund or a "$10 dollar GC for my issue" Not sure how I feel about there customer service. Feeling a little jipped that I got a used one, even if it was a good deal.

Can the steam mop be used on ceramic and hardwood?

  I use mine on both with no problems. Floor doesn't really get that wet.
