Are you on the hunt for a new Xbox Controller without spending too much money? Pick up a Rock Candy Xbox One Controller that is on sale from $44.99 down to $29.99 with free shipping.
I price compared the Rock Candy controllers at other online retailers. Surprisingly, they are hard to find. I found a blue one at Amazon Canada for $44.95 and I found all the orange, red, and blue at Best buy Canada for $44.99. Newegg Canada has the red, green, and blue controllers for $47.99 but shipping is an extra $9.99.
Price comparing showed me that this is a great price. I even found this device in the USA for more before currency exchange. Toys R Us has the controller for $39.99 USD and Amazon.com has the controller for $29.99 USD for two of the colours.
While price comparing, I ran into more of these controllers for the Xbox 360 - you might run into them if you are looking. Even for this older console, the cheapest Rock Candy controllers I could find were still $24.99.
At NCIX.com, you can choose between the green, red, or blue controllers. The controllers have clear polycarbonate casing so you can see through and into the main brain of the controller. The cases pop and the colours are bright - they remind me of rock candy. The brilliant white accents really set off the white colours. These are officially licensed controllers for your affordable gaming needs.
I actually like these controllers much better than the standard Xbox One controller and far better than the PS3 controllers I own. They are so ugly I actually bought Gelskins to spruce them up a bit.
These are a wired controller, which is the only downside that I can see. I prefer wireless, but there is a certain dependability that comes with wired. I just like the wireless controllers for their range. I can be on the couch across the room and playing. However, I do tend to move closer to the screen when I am gaming.
With free shipping on top of the $15 off, I am pretty happy with this deal. The controllers are gorgeous, officially licensed, and a great price.
