Do you ski, snowboard or otherwise brave the snowy outdoors? Then Mountain Equipment Co-op has the gear – and the sale – for you. Right now, they're clearing out a ton of skis, snowboard boots, parkas, sunglasses, snowshoes and cold-weather accessories, and you can score things for up to 35% off!
It's called the Snowsport Clearance, and while MEC hasn't announced an exact end date for this sale, I think it's pretty safe to say you can do a little discount shopping whenever you have a minute this weekend.
I took a quick peek through the clearance items and even found a few things that are even more than that advertised 30% off. I mean, these men's MEC Uptrack Pants are down to just $98 from $195! They're only available in size 30, but if those will fit you, I'd definitely try to order pair before they sell out completely.
One of their bestsellers, this Chaos Merino Wool Tubular Headwear piece, is down to $14.99 from $24.95. You can twist and fold it into a balaclava, headband, neck warmer, beanie or hood – so it's pretty much one accessory that does it all and can keep you warm in just about any weather conditions.
Of course, I can't tell you about a MEC sale without mentioning any jackets, so check this out. While this sale lasts, you can pick up a MEC Synergy GORE-TEX Jacket for just $279.97 from $399.95.
Before you shop, make sure you're signed in to your MEC account. Like their name suggests, Mountain Equipment Co-op is a cooperative, so you'll need a share to actually buy things from their stores and website. It only costs $5 to join, and more details about the MEC membership program are available online.
