Normally you'd have to spend $50 to get free shipping from Mountain Equipment Co-op, but this weekend they've got free shipping with no minimum.
Having a new trailer, this store very much excites me. They've got a great family camping section with Instagram pics and lots of fun tools for family camping.
When you are camping, one thing you really don't want to bring is ice cream. It would melt too easily, but its funny because that is one thing you crave outside on a hot and sunny day. Problem solved with this YayLabs softshell ice cream ball. Using simple ingredients, your kids can kick the ball around and make ice cream at the same time. Mind. Blown. This is $35 well spent and you don't even have to go into the store and have it shipped to you free.
If you like roasting marshmallows, I'd take a look at all the fun things you can do with them while camping. I can't wait for nightfall now!
Of course, being a frugal Mooser, I had a look at the clearance section, because I love to pair free shipping deals with clearance items.
I've noticed lately a lot of my husband's favourite tees have holes in them. He doesn't have to suffer like that and I can get him these MEC crew tee short sleeve tops for only $12, regularly $18. they look comfortable and soft and the best part: no holes.
The last thing anyone wants to think about is back to school, but trust me, it will be here before we know it. If you have a little one entering kindergarten, this MEC kinder book bag is perfect for them. I actually bought one for my little guy whose Walmart-quality bag ripped in January and had been using a too-small preschool bag for the rest of the year. Watch the video to see how great this bag is. I got the grey and yellow, but they have a number of colours. Regularly $32, it is now $22 with the free shipping as a bonus on top. I'm actually excited to cross one item off my list for the back to school shopping!
In order to make any purchase at MEC, you do need to be a member, but the cost is only $5 and lasts a lifetime.
