Trying to keep cold beverages in a room other than the kitchen? Right now Lowes.ca has the Igloo White 1.7 cu ft mini fridge on sale from $99.99 down to $59.99.
If you have a finished basement like I do, complete with a TV and sofa – then you know how unnecessary it feels to have to walk all the way up stairs to grab a drink during your favourite TV show or game. I have yet to invest in a mini refrigerator to solve this issue, but this might be our lucky day. While this mini fridge might not be fancy stainless steel or a top brand name, $59.99 is an excellent price considering the stainless steel model(also 1.7 cu ft) is $119.00.
This Igloo Mini Fridge has 1.7 cu ft capacity, which is plenty to store some pop, beer and maybe some veggies and dip! There is a door basket for 2L bottles and if you plan it right, you can store cups neatly on top. The flush back design of this Igloo Mini Refrigerator is to space save. It also features an adjustable thermostat if you want to keep things a little cooler. Have a hard to fit space for this item? The dimensions are 20.47 inches x 18.31 inches x 16.73 inches and it weighs about 38 pounds. The door is also reversible.
All in all, I would sacrifice the stainless steel option to save money – that is for sure! It also seems like an adequate amount of space for a basement, basement apartment, maybe even dorm room? Where have you required a mini fridge?
I had to head over to Walmart.com to find a review on this product, since there was none available on Lowes.ca as yet. The first review that caught my attention read:
I bought this mini fridge to keep at the office. I use it to keep six packs of beer cold. I mean soda… This is a perfect fridge for an office or garage space. It is very light weight and easy to carry. I have no complaints.
