Toms shoes are extremely popular at my university, it seems every kid had a pair. I have been wondering if it is because they are stylish, because a donation is involved, because they are comfortable, or some mixture of the above.

I have been considering getting a pair: especially if they are comfortable. the Black Corvo Toms are up my alley but I would like to know about their fit. Can any of our Moosers chime in?

I looooove toms! They are very comfortable; the donation is a bonus on the side. Toms tend to fit right on, but I've been told that you should go 1/2 size smaller because they do tend to stretch. I can wear 7 or 71/2 so I went with 7. The other benefit of Toms is that they are washing machine-safe (the classic ones, not sure about the silver one in the picture); so I just throw them in the wash when they need a cleaning! Toms almost never goes on sale so this is pretty decent of a deal. Thanks for posting!

That's a nice deal. The University aged friends convinced me that I needed Toms, so I bought a pair 2 days ago. So far, so good. They are most comfortable without socks and they fit true to size. The shoes are snug but comfortable right out of the box, then they "relax" after a few hours of wear and the snug areas soften up.

Thanks so much for your comments. How are they for width? I have a bit of a wide foot and I have a hard time finding comfy shoes.
