Here on Bargainmoose, we've posted about the Le Pan TC 970 9.7-Inch Multi-Touch LCD Google Android Tablet PC a couple of times, as the deals just seem to get better and better from Amazon. The last time Shawn wrote about it, it was $174, and I'm seeing another price drop now, down to only $149 with free super saver shipping.
In Shawn's last post, he mentioned that this tablet wasn't for the power user, but great for the casual home user. Have a read of the specifications and see if it would meet your needs. It's fantastic having a tablet round the house, and I've found that I'm really starting to depend on mine. When the battery sometimes dies on me, I wonder what to do with myself! Sure, I could go for a walk or read a book, but sometimes I just need to get the next fix of Words With Friends.
I've never used an android tablet actually, I've exclusively used Apple products, the iPad 1 and 2. I have my sights set on the new iPad, but finances can't quite stretch to that lever just now! Maybe if it has a price drop like the Le Pan tablet, I'd be able to afford it.
