Rise and shine! I'm such a morning person, but I'll take any excuse to wake up and be dressed a little earlier. And if you're not an early riser, well, I have something that might just tempt you to change your tune. I'll warn you that it will involve putting on clothes and leaving the house – but it's well worth the effort.
I just learned that certain Landmark Cinemas locations offer discounted movie tickets earlier in the day! It's all part of their Morning Movies promotion, which is available at two dozen theatres across the country. Basically, if you "catch a flick before noon," as they say, you can save up to 40% on your ticket!
There are almost always surcharges for films in RealD 3D, EXTRA, EXTREME and IMAX. They don't spell out exactly which movies qualify for this deal (and whether or not you can benefit from these discounts on the weekends), so I'd recommend calling your local theatre or asking at the ticket booth when you arrive.
You can see a full list of participating theatres online. Like Landmark says, this might be "the best reason to get up in the morning!" But if you're more of a night owl, I don't blame you. They actually have an entire page devoted to deals, so you can shop around and find one that suits you best. Maybe it's the Big Movie Deal!
