The IKEA Family membership is nothing new, but it's had a makeover and it's now better than ever. Members in Canada can now enjoy early access to selected new items, free stuff like hot drinks and great discounts across the store.
Before, some areas of Canada weren't eligible to become members of IKEA Family, but now the loyalty scheme covers the whole country.
It's still completely free to join IKEA Family and you get wonderful perks like a free hot drink at the IKEA Restaurant, free workshops and events and benefit from their 14-day breakage protection.
What is the IKEA Sell-Back Program?
The IKEA Sell-Back program is available to IKEA Family members in Canada. It allows members to sell their used IKEA items back to IKEA for store credit.
It's an eco-friendly scheme, that also saves you money on your next IKEA purchase.
IKEA will accept furniture that's lightly used, and in good condition - note it must also be fully assembled. They will pay in the form of store credit for the following furniture items:
- Bookcases and shelving units
- Cabinets
- Chairs and stools
- Chest of drawers
- Dining tables and desks
- Dressers, office drawers, shoe storage and sideboards
- TV units and other multimedia furniture
- Tables
