Today's the last day to submit a claim!
If you bought Johnson & Johnson Baby Bedtime Bath products in the last few years, you might be entitled to a cash refund.
"A proposed settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit about the labeling and packaging of some of Johnson & Johnson’s Bedtime Bath Products. The plaintiff in the lawsuit claimed that Johnson & Johnson mislabeled its Bedtime Bath Products by describing certain Bedtime Bath Products as “clinically proven” to help a baby sleep better," a statement on the settlement's site reads.
So what does this mean for you? If you're a Canadian resident who purchased one or more qualifying Johnson & Johnson products in Canada after July 1, 2010, you can claim a cash refund of $3 per product to a maximum of five products (so $15).
No proof of purchase is required, but you can only file one claim per household. And if you're planning to submit a claim, do it soon! The deadline is April 6, 2018.
Here are all the eligible products (which were sold in purple bottles):
- Johnson’s Baby BEDTIME Lotion
- Johnson’s BEDTIME Baby Lotion
- Johnson’s Baby BEDTIME Bath
- Johnson’s BEDTIME Baby Bath
- Johnson’s BEDTIME Bubble Bath
- Johnson’s Baby BEDTIME Bubble Bath and Wash
- Johnson’s Baby BEDTIME Wash
- Johnson’s BEDTIME Baby Moisture Wash
- Johnson’s BEDTIME Touch Massage Gel
An independent claims administrator will review all the submitted claims and will contact you if you need to provide any additional information. If your claim is approved, you should receive a cheque about 60 days after the filing deadline (so in early June).
If you still have any questions about this, let us know in the comments or head to the FAQ section of the settlement website.
