In a recent email from Hotels.ca, they announced that they are currently having a "Canada Day Sale" and are offering lots of hotels at up to 40% off their regular prices.
The deals are for hotels all over the world, if you're planning a little trip. Perhaps you could go have a mojito in Mexico... or Bacardi in Barbados! Hotels.ca apparently have over 99,000 hotels worldwide, so I am sure you can find something to your liking!
It seems a bit early to be having a "Canada Day" sale, but whatever floats their boat!
