My beat here on Bargainmoose is supposed to have a techy focus but this time I'm bringing you a series of books that cover a huge range of topics from the iPad to Quilting. I might be pushing my boundaries but think of it as the tech deals you expect from me with an added something. :)
This month Amazon.ca has all the "Dummy" series of books on sale for 50% off.
Some examples are:
- iPhone 4S for Dummies (Regular $29.99) now $14.24
- Linux for Dummies (Regular $47.99) now $24
- Windows 7 for Seniors for Dummies (Regular $29.99) now $18.80
I don't have a lot of experience with the "Dummy" books because I'm more of a "throw myself into the fray" kind of guy. But for a lot of people, that isn't the case. The "Dummy" books have been around since 1991 and started with a computer book, DOS for Dummies.
The reason that these book have been so popular is because the information is presented in a non-intimidating way. So if you happen to be a newbie at some technology out there or you want a simple, easy-to-follow guide on using it, check out the 50% off "Dummy" sale at Amazon.ca
