I find spring to be a big birthday/birth season. In fact, I read somewhere once that the late spring and summer months have the highest birth rates so,it's not just wedding season, but baby season! I've got a baby shower to attend in March and found a couple of deals at Costco that I thought I'd share.
The first thing I saw was the Graco DuetConnect Swingfor only $189.99 with shipping included in that price. I wanted this swing when it was released because its features are so darn handy but our little guy was too big. The seat of this Graco swing doubles as a removable bouncer so you don't have to shell out another $50 on one of those great little seats. It plays 10 songs and 5 nature sounds;has 3 toys, 6 speeds, vibration and plug-in, as well as battery, operation. Whew! The colour scheme is nice and neutral and won't be an eyesore in your living space, which is a huge bonus with kids' stuff. The cheapest I've ever seen this swing was $200 so this is a great deal - especially with no additional delivery charges!
My second find was this Kushies Nursing Set for just $59.99. It may be natural but nursing is hard in the beginning and all the help and support you can get is vital. That includes a good, comfortable nursing pillow which can run you upwards of $60 or more. This set includes a sturdy, contoured Kushies nursing pillow, a nursing cover (which are usually another $30 or more!), reusable nursing pads, newborn bibs and burp cloths. This is a steal and I wish I'd found it in the beginning. The $59.99 price includes shipping, as well.
As always, no membership is needed to shop at the Costco website. I hope this helps you if you're expecting or shopping for someone who is!
