I price compared with Best Buy Canada and they have the same camera listed at $99.99. I could not find this model number many places but similar models were priced upwards of $100.
The Canon boasts a 2.7" LCD screen, lightweight design, DIGIC 4 image processor and a 16.0MP CCD sensor. It includes a 24 mm wide-angle lens with 5x optical zoom. With plenty of bonus features, this camera is a great buy at this price. These cameras are also a great buy because they are small, durable, affordable, and perfect for sharing. Whereas I would not give my iPhone to someone to take a picture of me (and risk $600 worth), I would gladly share a Powershot camera. I also would be worried about the durability of my iPhone while caving, rock climbing, or other activities. With a camera like this, I would be far less concerned. It also can handle knocks a lot better than my delicate touch screen device.
