The only thing better than really cheap music is free music! Right now you can pre-order the complete Jamie Lawson self-titled album for free. The album will be released on the 9th of October, 2015 and you will be first in line to receive the new album at no expense to yourself.
You will not be able to sample this artist's music through Google Play as the album has not been released yet. However, you can head over to YouTube and find some samples on there to determine if this artist is one you want to add to your collection. As the album is free - I don't see why you would not add it anyway!
Now, for a little price comparing at other retailers. To pre-order the physical copy of this album it will cost you $18.77 at Amazon Canada. Yup, that is a big chunk of change for a new album. To compare a bit more apples to apples... the pre-order of this album on iTunes will cost you $7.99.
It's nice that Google Play is offering this album for free when iTunes has it pre-order for $7.99. Thanks Google for saving me $7.99.
By the way, you can demo the first song at iTunes Canada if you want an easy way to check out this artist's style. This singer/songwriter has a reggae style about him (or at least I think so) and has a pretty decent voice. One reviewer said:
Very cool I can't wait to hear the album. Wow I still said album. Okay...I can't wait to hear his latest release. Especially since he appears to be a protege of Ed Sheeran. Rock on !!!
It seems funny that this guy is considered a protégé of Ed Sheeran when Ed Sheeran's X album is the music deal of the week this week. Essentially, you can pick up Ed Sheeran's album for 99 cents and Jamie Lawson's album for free. This is a pretty great week for music deals.
