Apparently we are celebrating the Doughnut Harvest!? On April 1st, you can head into your local Krispy Kreme Canada location to claim a free Original Glazed Doughnut. That's no April Fool's joke! The harvest is the joke though, but it is kind of cute if you ask me. People go crazy for these free doughnuts. Do you remember the Pirate Day freebies? I heard of people driving over an hour to celebrate the occasion. I don't think I would travel that far just for a free doughnut, would you?
If you have a Krispy Kreme near you, then this is a great way to get out of the house and enjoy a delicious, fresh doughnut. Krispy Kreme jokes that each doughnut is cultivated from a nurtured doughnut seedling. Because the winter was so fair, they had a bountiful harvest and are celebrating with one free doughnut for every customer that stops by on April Fool's day. There is no limited time frame for this offer like they sometimes do, but it does say that this offer is available at participating US and Canadian shops. Limited to one doughnut per customer, per visit. No pirate costume required this time!
