A while ago, I came across this post on wisebread.com about airport wi-fi. It has a useful tip about how to get free wi-fi at various airports around the world.
I travel quite a bit and know how frustrating it can be hanging round at airports, and it is nice to have some free internet while you are there! I've used the pay as you go service from Boingo on a number of occasions. Apparently, you can score some free wi-fi from Boingo, as some of the airports gift shops hold free wi-fi cards, you just have to ask for one!
The wisebread article also goes on to state that you can call the toll-free Boingo number and ask for a free promotional code, if you want. Then just logon with some free wi-fi minutes.
Of course this tip isn't going to apply at every single airport, but there's no harm in asking.
Have you any tips on free airport wi-fi?
