Every family has those recipes that are passed down through generations and are almost impossible to replicate if you don't know all the exact ingredients, measurements and instructions. Most of those treasured guides are scribbled on scraps of paper or just memorized – but here's a new way to preserve them.
You can print recipes on kitchen towels! I was shopping for Christmas presents on Etsy yesterday when I found this listing, and it's honestly an incredible idea. This way, you can always have those special recipes on hand. Instead of digging through recipe cards or frantically calling family members, just grab your towel!
The specific towels that caught my eye are made by a Texas seller, and they're actually listed as a bestselling item right now. These aren't traditional cotton tea towels, but you will receive a custom printed micro-velour towel with terry cotton on the other side – all for $20.55. Make sure you contact the seller before you buy so that they have all the recipe details and photos they need to proceed. Shipping is an extra $14.39.
Another American seller, Color Me Eden, makes a similar kind of custom towel. Their prices start at $17.82, and products ship to Canada for free. However, I just don't like their design as much. There are a few other custom kitchen towel options out there, too, so you might want to search for them on Etsy, just for a look.
