Something new is happening over at DSW, and it's amazing news for any shoe addicts out there. They recently gave their rewards program, DSW VIP, a complete makeover, and I'm living for the results.
Now, it's even easier for members to earn points, claim rewards and score FREE shipping and returns. So if you're not already part of the club, it's absolutely worth signing up. And when you do, here's everything you need to know about the program – because it's about to become a huge part of your shopping trips.
Before you can start earning rewards, you need to become a DSW VIP member. You can sign up here by entering some personal information (like your name, address and contact info) and creating a password you'll use to log in to your account. The next time you shop, just make sure you sign in before you check out.
There are three tiers to the VIP program: VIP Club, VIP Gold and VIP Elite. When you sign up, you're automatically a VIP Club member, and you'll earn VIP Gold status when you spend $200 at DSW in a year or VIP Elite when you reach $500. The perks get even better with each tier, so it definitely pays to shop.
Since most of us are starting out at the VIP Club level, here's what you automatically get when you sign up:
- Points with every purchase: Get one point for every $1 you spend and a $5 reward for every $100
- $5 off for your birthday: Just enter your birthday to receive a $5 reward to use anytime that month
- Free shipping: All your orders ship for FREE (and VIP Elite members also receive FREE 365-day returns)
- Give a pair: Donate new or gently used shoes at a DSW store and receive 50 points for every pair
Members who reach VIP Gold and VIP Elite will also receive exclusive offers and even bigger birthday gifts – so if you're anything like me (and you tend to buy a LOT of shoes), you might want to just head to DSW the next time you're after a new pair. All those shoes will really start to add up and help you save even more!
