On the first and third Monday of each month, you can play the DMR Disney Challenge to earn Disney Magic Codes. As today is the first Monday of June, you can earn a Disney Magic Code today.
The game requires Facebook to play, and you will need to give the game software basic access to your information. Some months have a game theme. For example, last month the theme was 'Disney Mothers' in support of Mother's Day.
Overall, the Disney Challenge is simple. You will be asked a series of questions and you need to pick the right answer. There is a bonus round to help you score more points. I think the rewards are based on your score. I took the challenge and received a DMR code for 5 points. That may not seem like a lot, but it is about the same amount I get out of the newsletter each month. With the Disney challenge, I can earn two of these codes per month.
You earn a higher score for each correct answer and a time bonus reward. If you choose the wrong answer, your score will go down. In the bonus round, there are multiple correct answers for each question they ask. Select all the correct answers without clicking on an incorrect answer, or your score will go down.
At the end of each game period, the three highest scores on the leader board will win a Bonus Code worth 50 points. You can play the game as much as you like, but only your first score will unlock a magic code and make it onto the leader board.
I know many Moosers collect DMR codes and use them to get Disney related collectibles and movies. Currently, I am saving up points for the fifth season of Lost. Unfortunately, they only have the DVD version available right now. I am tempted to get the Pixar Short Films Collection Volume 2 Blu-ray instead. I only need 90 more points to get it.
This appears to be an ongoing promotion from Disney. Thus, in addition to your monthly newsletter, it is a great way to earn Disney points faster.
Hey Moosers, what are you saving your Disney DMR points for? How many do you have right now?
