Dell: 4GB MicroSDHC Flash Memory Card for $6.99 (orig. $19.99)

I have been looking into memory cards lately because I need a few more. I ran across a deal on Dell for a Kingston microSDHC flash memory card that is in their lingering boxing day sale. Originally $19.99 this microSDHC card with adaptor to become a regular SDHC card is only $6.99.

I know a little about SD cards, but nothing about microSD cards, so if any of our Moosers can share their knowledge, that would be awesome. All I have heard is that microSD cards tend to be faster than regular SD cards, which I think is good. I am considering stocking up on 2 - 4 of these babies for my camera as this is an amazing price, I have never seen cheaper. Kingston is also a good brand from what I know.

Anyone know if this will work for expanding memory on the kobo?

  I just got mine, stuck it in my Kobo and when I went to settings it shows up fine! So it works in the Kobo! :-) sweet :)

Hi Anna, The price on these cards is really good. However, if you are looking for a really fast card which makes a real difference to camera speeds, look for a Class 10 card. The ones mentioned in your article are Class 4. We went from a class 4 to a class 10 on our new Nikon, and the difference was amazing! Most people don't realize that there are different classes.

Not sure if anyone else has had the same issues I have with Dell, but after I placed my order, they sent me a shipping notification and it showed i ordered 1 card at $13.98. I had actually ordered 2 @ $6.99 ea. Sure enough, got my package and found only 1 in there. When I called Dell, they would not do anything for me saying that $13.98 was the price each one! I also had a similar issue with Dell on another order just a few weeks ago. I'm now fighting with Dell to send me my additional card!

Yep, same as my invoice. I emailed it them but they seem to still be fighting with me on it.
