The terms and conditions aren't that complicated… basically the 2 nights must be consecutively taken at the same hotel.
I've never stayed in a Days Inn hotel actually. Just out of curiousity, I checked out a few of the Days Inn hotels in Toronto on Tripadvisor, and the reviews seem fairly average. If you are planning on visiting a specific one, I would check it on Tripadvisor before booking.
