These aren't the fairy tales you heard when you were a kid. Actually, they are, but with a far more adult slant. Grownup fairly tales, on sale, from Comixology!
Seriously people, these are not kids fairy tales. I mean, most comics are way over-sexualized, but these things are way, way, way over-sexualized: just fair warning. Regardless of how ludicrous some of the parts of the books are, people seem to really dig 'em. The concept is great; Take something that almost every knows, Grimm's Fairy Tales, and flip it so even though it's the same characters and same general story, it's completely different. I've never read these, but from what I can gather the whole concept around them is taking fairy tales and working them into a real life situation that matches up somewhat with the story of the original fairy tale.
I actually really identify with this, because I've written a book with a similar sort of storytelling mechanism. I think it's a great way to open up comics (or a book, TV show, movie or other media property) to a new audience who might not otherwise be interested in it. There is no real barrier to entry on a comic like this unless you're put off by it's adult nature. Most of us know Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood, so it's not like getting into these comics will take a bunch of back story or learning a bunch of new characters.
